Sweet Pea Box Review & Giveaway

This is our 100th post and I think Sweet Pea Box makes a fabulous 100th post!!!

Its no secret our love for subscription box companies!! Sweet Pea is a monthly children's clothing company. They have several options to choose from. You can pick a 4 item, 5 item or 6 item box and prices start at $40.00. The brands featured in these boxes include....
Kate Quinn OrganicsKickee PantsCalvin KleinViolet Moss, and one of our friends Lion & Lamb, just to name a few.

You can tell your stylist your color, size, and style preference and you can even split between children. The owner of the company takes pride in her company and has a passion to make her customers the happiest they can be. You also have the option to provide a box as a "gift".

You can check out samples of boxes received on Sweet Pea Box's facebook page HERE

We decided on a split box between our 2 & 4 year old boys. I told her alittle about our style and even mentioned I would LOVE to try out Kate Quinn. I also told her my oldest was a huge super hero fan and needed some warmer clothes in a larger size that he wears currently.

The top Kate Quinn romper and orange T are for little brother, and the cool Batman
track outfit and dino long sleeved shirt and blue pants are for big brother.
Love the orange shirt, this is from Mish Genuine Urban
The Kate Quinn outfit is so nice and soft, it has
a vintage look and is a great lounge outfit.

"1 min mom, my straps are falling"

Big bro rocking his new cool dino outfit.
Shirt and pants are made by Freestyle which is
sold at Kholes, JCP and been featured on Zulily.
Tag reads MSRP $44.00

He loves his new Batman track suit.

I like the Kate Quinn as a layered outfit as well.
Getting a month box delivered of kids clothes is a great service. You have a personal shopper that can find the brands and styles you like while opeaning your eyes to brands you have not heard of. We loved our Sweet Pea Box and encourage you to give them a try.

Sweet Pea is generous enough to offer one of our readers a 4 piece box!!! Check out the rafflecopter below for entrance details.

Show No Review & Giveaway

Whats a show no????
Well..... Its a Bath Towel, A cover up, A beach towel, And a changing towel...

Show No Towels are made for kids ages 3-10. They can be used at home, after bathtime, at the pool to product from the sun and keep warm after, at the beach, either to lay on the sand, or to play and to protect from the rays and wind. Or as a cover up during changing out of wet clothes.
There are both girls and boy options with a variety of trim options and colors.

We were so happy to receive a Show No of our own!! Recently completing a 6 week, 4 days a week swim class I realized the importance of towels, you need a towel that does not drag when worn, while being long enough to actually cover. I can't tell you how many times I stuck the middle part in my mouth while attempting to cover a wet little guy, with him holding onto my shoulders, and attempting to keep his dry clothes dry.
I SOOOOOO wish I had a show no at this time. Big bro could have worn while little bro was swimming, and when it was time to put on dry clothes just reach up and remove the suit while keeping his business in hiding! Genius idea!!!!! Plus for our after swim snack he could have laid it flat and ate lunch on the no show!

The size is perfect and while being smaller than a beach towel it actually covers more of the kiddo.

To bench or not to bench......

I know its been a while since we did a project so here it goes......

The playroom has been shown before, its right off the front door, and I think its intended purpose is a formal sitting room.... pffftttttt "formal" with 2 boys ages 2 & 4, umm noooooo, so ours is a playroom...
It has 2 shelving units I picked up for a steal on craigslist, they were listed as Daycare cubbies and OMG these things are massive!!! Did I mention they were only $25 each!!! score

Its nice though because the toys can get off the floor, and are easily displayed.

More often than not it ends up like this!!!

After a clean/organize/purge session

We had a couch in here which we placed in front the window on the other side which made a huge block. Not to mention it wasn't used very often.

We knew we wanted some kind of shelving built. I had a handyman provide a estimate which turned out to be HUNDREDS!!! Then I went to good old pinterest, typed in "window bench seat" and taaa daaaaaa Ikeas EXPEDIT shelf seemed to be the solution

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20116274/#/70116276

Plus it is only $59!!!!

Super easy to assemble.

The height is perfect for little Bro. Most of his toys have now found their way here. I planned on making a fabric covered cushion for the top but the hard surface actually works better for him to play on.

Love the way the playroom turned out, more storage, affordable price, and attractive, quality piece.
Thanks IKEA!
