Have you ever been to a baby shower where they pass around a advice book for the new parents? Well I have a great one, especially for mommas of boys. Stock up on dress up gear! That is something I never even considered when finding out we were expecting a boy, TWICE.
There has been trips to Target in capes, a take out dinner trip with daddy, complete with a Zorro get-up, and sword, and I can't tell you how many Lowes trips we have made with "Superman" at our side. We actually made a trip recently to a sports store where my son BEGGED me for at least a hour for a complete set of football gear so he could be a "fighter guy".

ReplyDeleteMy DD is always a princess of some sort, and my DS loves to dress like a pirate. That is the only boy dress up clothes we have right now, so hubby would be so thrilled with some more boy things! (And DD LOVES "nengine turtles" too :)
